On November 28, the university-level theoretical study center group of NENU held a thematic study seminar on “Gaining a Deep Understanding of the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and Planning the University’s 15th Five-Year Development Plan with High Quality.” Members of the university-level theoretical study center group, along with responsible officials from some functional departments, directly affiliated units, and people’s organizations attended the meeting. Representatives from the Second Inspection Team of the CPC Leading Group of the Ministry of Education were present at the seminar in a non-voting capacity. The meeting was presided over by Xu Haiyang, Deputy Party Secretary and President of NENU.
At the meeting, Pang Lisheng, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of NENU, delivered a key speech focusing on the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and its requirements for formulating the University’s 16th Five-Year Plan. Vice President Wu Zhihui provided a presentation centered on the development achievements during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period and the main ideas for the “15th Five-Year Plan.” Wang Na, Standing Committee Member of the CPC Committee and Head of the Organization Department of NENU; Bai Bing, Assistant President of NENU; and principal heads of the Department of Planning and Development, Graduate School, CPC Committee Talent Office, Logistics Support Department, and Office of Information Management and Planning of NENU delivered exchange speeches regarding the planning ideas for the “15th Five-Year Plan” in areas such as Party building, talent cultivation, discipline development, scientific research, faculty development, logistical support, and educational digitalization.
On October 29, the university-level theoretical study center group of NENU conducted its first collective study session on conveying and learning the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. This recent meeting served as a renewed mobilization and deepening of the study, publicity, and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. It also constituted a renewed deployment and advancement of efforts to implement the spirit of NENU’s 16th CPC Congress and to plan the formulation of the University’s 16th Five-Year Plan with high quality.
