Recently, the 2025 National Basic Skills Showcase for Undergraduate Students Majoring in Music Education, hosted by the Department of Physical, Health and Arts Education of the Ministry of Education and organized by Shaanxi Normal University, concluded successfully. A total of 356 outstanding participants from 93 universities across the country took part in the showcase. The School of Music and Dance of NENU won the university-level group first prize, and our faculty and students won a total of 10 individual awards, including the All-Around Award, Professional Skills Showcase, and Teaching Showcase awards.
The outstanding achievements attained by NENU’s faculty and students in this event fully demonstrate the significant results achieved by the University in the development of the music education major, curriculum reform, and talent cultivation. The School will take this opportunity to continue deepening the teaching reform of the music education major, promote the spirit of educators, implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, and contribute to cultivating more high-quality, professional, and innovative aesthetic education teachers.
