From December 27 to 28, NENU’s 2025 (8th) “Creative Education” Demonstration Class Exhibition was held in the smart classrooms of Yifu Teaching Building on the Renmin Street Campus.
With the theme of “Creating Smart Classes, Building Golden Courses of NENU,” the activity showcased 22 classes from NENU and member institutions of the Ministry of Education’s “Collaborative Quality Improvement Plan for Teacher Education” (NENU Group) through offline teaching with students and online live streaming, attracting more than 200,000 online and offline views.
The event invited Professor Gao Hang from the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Professor Yin Aiqing from the School of Music and Dance, Professor Liu Lizhen from the Business School, and Professor Sun Wendong from the School of Chemistry as resident expert reviewers, with leaders from 21 schools and faculties serving as rotating expert reviewers. Four student representatives were invited as observers to participate in the evaluation of class effect. Officials from the Academic Affairs Office and Teacher Education Research Institute also attended the event.
This year’s activity maintained the distinctive features of “online live streaming + offline observation + on-site teaching with students + smart learning spaces.” Notably, the event introduced the University-Middle School Collaborative “Dual-Teacher Classes” for the first time, featuring co-teaching by frontline teachers from the Experimental School Affiliated to Northeast Normal University. The representative of the Academic Affairs Office opened the ceremony, while Professor Gao Hang, leader of the expert panel, delivered the concluding summary.
