NENU Holds 2026 Spring Semester Undergraduate Teaching Work Conference

Published:March 17, 2026 Review:

On March 13, NENU held the 2026 Spring Semester Undergraduate Teaching Work Conference to arrange the undergraduate teaching work for the new semester. Vice President Wu Zhihui attended the meeting, along with Ma Xiaoyan, former Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President, and current Director of the Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation at NENU, members of the university’s teaching supervision team, vice presidents of various schools (faculties) in charge of undergraduate teaching and experimental teaching, academic secretaries, and all staff of the Academic Affairs Office.

At the conference, responsible persons from the Academic Affairs Office and various Collegiate Academies provided systematic deployments and detailed explanations of the key tasks for this semester, covering teaching operations, practical teaching, teaching quality monitoring, student registration management, program adjustment, teaching reform and teaching materials, undergraduate enrollment, comprehensive management, as well as the work pertaining to Weizhen Academy, Wenchang Academy, and Zhiyuan Academy. The conference set forth the theme for NENU’s 2026 undergraduate teaching work as the “Year of Program Optimization and Adjustment.” All schools (faculties) are required to closely align their efforts with key tasks such as adjusting disciplines and majors, innovating integrated talent cultivation models, sharing curriculum resources, and preparing applications for teaching achievement awards. They must actively recognize changes, adapt with a scientific approach, and proactively drive transformation, while adhering to the principle of “focusing on what matters and letting go of what doesn’t.” This approach aims to collaboratively ensure  the effective implementation of NENU’s annual undergraduate teaching objectives. During the session, a representative from the School of Music and Dance also shared experiences and insights related to the program adjustment and optimization. Finally, Vice President Wu Zhihui delivered a concluding speech.

Following the meeting, the university’s teaching supervision team convened a separate session to review its work during the previous semester and to discuss and exchange ideas regarding its supervision plan for the current semester.
