Recently, the Selected Important Works of Marx, Engels, and Lenin on Philosophy, Social Sciences, and Various Disciplines: Education Volume (hereafter referred to as Education Volume), compiled under the organization of the Ministry of Education, has been officially approved for publication and distribution by Higher Education Press. The editorial team was led by NENU, with Professor Yang Xiaohui serving as the chief editor, Professors Pang Lisheng and Yang Zhaoshan as deputy chief editors. Core members included Professors Gao Di, Liu Zhi, Han Liying, Bai Lu, and Ren Zhifeng from the Ideological and Political Education Research Center of NENU, along with renowned domestic experts Professors Feng Jianjun and Hu Changshuan.
The compilation of the Education Volume spanned four years, from its project initiation by the National Textbook Committee in February 2022 to its official publication in February 2026. The volume, comprising over 600,000 Chinese characters, represents another major landmark achievement following the key textbook Understanding Xi Jinping’s Educational Philosophy, which was compiled under the “Marxist Theory Research and Construction Project” and led by Professor Yang Xiaohui in July 2020.
