To thoroughly implement the guiding principles of the 2026 National Conference on Employment and Entrepreneurship for University Graduates and to advance the relevant work arrangements of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government, the 2026 Jilin Province Training Program for University Employment and Entrepreneurship Educators and Key Personnel in Employment Services was held from May 8 to 9. The program was guided by the Education Department of Jilin Province, organized by the Jilin Provincial College Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Association, and hosted by NENU. Liu Xuejun, Level I Bureau Rank Official of the Education Department of Jilin Province; Li Yanbing, President of the Jilin Provincial College Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Association; and Liu Jiuqing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of NENU, attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks.
Focusing on key issues in university employment and entrepreneurship education, the training program closely addressed major challenges and emerging priorities in career guidance while aiming to enhance the professional capabilities of employment service teams across the province. More than ten nationally recognized experts were invited to participate, including gold-award-winning instructors from the National Career Planning Competition, directors of university career counseling studios, and leading scholars in the fields of career education and employment and entrepreneurship guidance.
Through keynote speeches and specialized workshops, the experts provided instruction on topics such as career planning and employment guidance curriculum development and the construction of an independent knowledge system for career education with Chinese characteristics. The program comprehensively strengthened participants’ theoretical understanding and practical innovation capabilities. A total of 320 employment and entrepreneurship educators and key personnel in employment services from more than 60 universities across Jilin Province attended the training.
The training program provided a high-quality platform for communication and mutual learning among universities across Jilin Province, further clarifying the direction of employment and entrepreneurship education while effectively improving the professional competence of university career guidance teams. It also offered strong support for promoting higher-quality full employment for university graduates in Jilin Province and for strengthening the educational foundations of employment-related work.
