NENU's Alumni Affairs Office and the Student Employment Guidance and Service Center jointly hosted the “Songs Unbroken, Alumni Homecoming” Distinguished Alumni Interview Event on September 11, bringing four distinguished alumni back to their alma mater to reminisce about their youth, renew their bonds of friendship and share reflections on their lives of scholarship. Professor Shi Ningzhong, Professor Wang Zhongchen, Mr. Li Nangang and Professor Geng Tiehua first forged their enduring friendship decades ago, when, as young faculty members staying on to teach at NENU, they shared a dormitory room for junior teachers.
The event serves both as a vivid vehicle for carrying forward the NENU spirit and sustaining the University’s educational legacy, and as a key step in advancing the integrated development of student recruitment, cultivation, employment and alumni engagement. Going forward, NENU will continue to tap into its educational resources, hold the distinguished alumni interview series on a regular basis, and channel the strength of its outstanding alumni into talent cultivation, academic atmosphere building and employment-oriented education, helping the University reach a new level in its high-quality development.
