NENU and Changchun Sixth Hospital held the “One Heart, Pooled Wisdom, Joint Research” Research Pairing Ceremony on September 14, the latest in a series of pragmatic steps in their hospital-university cooperation, following the framework agreement signed and the NENU Mental Health Research Center jointly established with the hospital in July this year. At the ceremony, the two sides formed 17 paired research teams, advancing their partnership from resource sharing toward deep, whole-chain collaboration spanning clinical, basic and translational research.
The research pairing program represents a concrete practice in NENU’s efforts to promote interdisciplinary integration and deepen cooperation with local partners. The participating teams span more than ten disciplines, including psychology and medicine, as well as physics, chemistry, mathematics and statistics, information science, physical education, music and dance, fine arts, and ideological and political education. The collaboration covers such areas as brain-inspired computing, hardware support for brain-computer interfaces and in-vitro diagnostics, multi-omics and AI large-model analyses of psychiatric disorders, and distinctive therapeutic approaches featuring music, art and exercise.
