The national finals of the Dance Category of the 3rd “Cultural China” Competition on Creative Transformation and Innovative Development for Chinese Graduate Students were held at NENU from September 25 to 27.
Contested in three sections—Choreography, Dance Performance, and Dance Education — the finals concluded with expert review and supervision, after which this year’s award winners for the Dance Category were announced. NENU entries claimed four First Prizes across the three sections—for The Cold Blade, Sounds of the Wind, Ode to Clear Light, and Movement Analysis and Lens Design: A Practice Course in Dance Film—together with seven Second Prizes, reflecting the University’s educational outcomes in graduate-level dance creation, performance, and teaching practice.
