NENU held the 2026 Career Carnival — a themed event under the University’s College Student Career Planning Competition — simultaneously on its two campuses from October 16 to 18, drawing nearly 3,000 students from across the University.
Designed as a follow-up educational activity in the Competition series, the Carnival moved beyond the traditional lecture format and centered on experiential, immersive, and interactive career education. It integrated professional modules — career awareness, self-exploration, career exploration, skill development, and goal setting — into a variety of formats, including game-based challenge stations, scenario-based experiences, and hands-on interactive practice, with the aim of advancing whole-process career education, strengthening students’ career planning awareness and core employability skills, and guiding them in making informed plans for their academic paths and career directions. A featured AI career etiquette zone was also set up on site, using technology to enhance career education and helping students understand their own traits and workplace norms through relaxed, immersive experiences.
