2026 12th CCPC National Finals (Changchun) is hosted in NENU

Published:October 21, 2026 Review:

The 2026 12th China Collegiate Programming Contest (CCPC) National Finals (Changchun) was held at NENU’s Renmin Street Campus from October 17 to 18. Hosted by the CCPC Organizing Committee and undertaken by NENU, the event was the first stop of this year’s national series. A total of 336 teams from 203 universities, five high schools, and one enterprise across the country took part.

The opening ceremony was held at the Gymnasium in NENU. It was followed by a warm-up contest, an AI Operator Optimization Competition, and the main contest, in which teams competed for five hours, collaborating on problem analysis, algorithm design, and code implementation. At the closing ceremony and awards presentation, Professor Ye Hairong of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University announced the results. Zhejiang University, Fudan University, and Peking University claimed the champion, runner-up, and third-place titles, respectively.

Founded in 2015, the CCPC is a national-level, high-profile competition organized by the CCPC Organizing Committee. It aims to strengthen student’ capabilities in algorithm design, logical reasoning, mathematical modeling, programming implementation, and computer systems; foster teamwork, a spirit of challenge, and innovation; and provide a practical platform for cultivating high-quality information technology talent, thereby supporting China’s effort to build itself into a powerhouse in education, science and technology, and talent.
