Third Seminar held for the Key Project "The Research on the Sinicization Process of European and American Literature" Funded by the National Academy of Social Sciences

Recently, the third seminar for the key project "The Research on the Sinicization Process of European and American Literature" was held in NENU. With Professor Liu Jianjun as the leading expert, the project was funded by the National Academy of Social Sciences.
On the meeting, the team members for the project discussed the key issues in the present research studies, unanimously agreeing with adhering to the standpoint of "creating our own literature under the influence of foreign literature", the core idea and fundamental clue of the project and the writing principle oriented to problem-solving. The attendants also planed the specific work for the next phase. The project group held two seminars in April and May, 2012since the thesis proposal meeting in March, 2012. In the past year, this project has received broad attention from academic field and media. Its progress has been widely covered by The World Literature Criticism, Journal of Northeast Normal University (Philosophy and Social Science), People's Daily Online, and Chinese Social Sciences Today, etc.
