The 2012 Annual Academic Conference of Ecological Society of China was co-hosted by NENU and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Northeast Geography and Ecological Agriculture between September 12th and 14th. The theme of this conference is "Developing Ecological Science, Construct Ecological Civilization". Three academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Liu Xingtu, Wang Rusong and Kang Le were invited to deliver academic reports. More than 300 theses and abstracts were received and 27 academic exchanges on special topics were conducted.
